2025 Week 13

Since we moved to Berlin, I've embraced watching every WWII stories that my I can find. This not only helps me understand why certain aspects of the world are now, but also how the city itself has evolved.

This time I stumbled on "The man in the High Castle" on Prime Video. While I initially didn't get drawn by the title, the description sucked me in immediately given it was with respect the the WWII. This week Mercy and I committed some good time to watch all the four seasons after we got hooked in.

To avoid spoilers for anyone who might want to watch, I won't be sharing much details.

It was a re-imagination of the outcome of the WWII where the Allies didn't win the war and the Axis did. This particularly sparked my interest as I've always imagine what the world will be like if the Axis won. With a little bit of mystery, it even take the the story further where people in that world can't believe that there might just be a world like ours where the Allies did won.
